Tell us about your family
Meet Mallory! Mallory grew up in Manteca and after high school went to Colorado to work at a horse ranch. She currently works local and enjoys spending time climbing at Alpine.
tell us about your climbing background
While Mallory was in Colorado, a few of her friends invited her to go climbing after work one day. She went and was absolutely hooked. She found that she really enjoyed the challenge that climbing gave her both mentally and physically, similar to horse back riding.
why did you join alpine?
After Mallory moved back to California, she found herself desiring something adventurous. She knew that Alpine was being built, and after the doors opened, she came in with a few friends. She soon made many friends that she would not want to do life without.
what advice would you give to a new climber?
Mallory would encourage new climbers to get outside of your comfort zone and talk to people in the community! They are great people that all share the common interest of climbing. You’ll find yourself with friends that will last a lifetime.
