Tell us about yourself
Meet the Garrett! Garrett grew up moving all over the country. He currently works at BJ’s as a server. Growing up he enjoyed many sports but swam a lot.
tell us about your climbing background
Garrett was introduced to climbing when COVID hit. Some of his friends introduced him to climbing and fully committed to a membership. After climbing for a while Garrett completely fell in love with it and has never looked back.
why did you join alpine?
Garrett joined Alpine to give him something fun to do during the pandemic, and fell in love with it soon after. He now loves the community, and boulder problems that he works through daily.
what advice would you give to a new climber?
Garrett would encourage new climbers to focus on injury prevention. As you get stronger, taking care of your body is important as well as finding time to rest.
