🤔 IS CLIMBING REALLY FOR ME?

Yes. 100%. Climbing is for EVERYONE. You don’t need to be strong, flexible, or “in shape” to start. You just need a little curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

At Alpine, our community is full of climbers who started right where you are—nervous, excited, and unsure what to expect. By the end of their first session? Hooked, and you will be too! 

🧗‍♂️ Start With Beginner Climber Basics

Our Beginner Climber Basics class is the ultimate intro experience. This 90-minute session is led by one of our awesome team members, who will guide you through all the climbing areas at Alpine—so you can discover what type of climbing lights you up.

Here’s what you’ll explore:

đź§± Boulder

Start your session on our bouldering walls—no ropes, just you and the wall. These climbs are short, powerful, and a blast. All you need are climbing shoes (included with the class).

đź”— Auto Belay

Next, you’ll move into our Adventure Center, home to 17 auto belay lines. These walls are playful, varied, and reach heights of up to 23 feet. There’s even a “leap of faith” feature for the bold-hearted.

🪢 Top Rope

You’ll finish in our rope room, where you’ll be belayed by a staff member on climbs up to 55 feet high. It’s a great way to experience the full vertical thrill, no experience required.

Oh, and did we mention? The class includes a 2-week membership so you can come back and climb even more.

Climbing isn’t about brute strength—it’s about movement, strategy, and flow. In Beginner Climber Basics, we’ll help you learn to:

  • Use your legs to push instead of pulling with your arms
  • Balance and breathe through tough spots
