Tell us about your family
Meet Jeremy and Anastasia! Jeremy was born in Modesto, and currently works at Gallo as a quality analyst. Anastasia works for a home design company located in the Bay Area and recently moved to the Central Valley during Covid.
tell us about your climbing background
Anastasia had climbed prior to knowing about Alpine. When she found out that there was a gym opening up in the area she became a founding member. She has always enjoyed climbing and was excited to share that with Jeremy. Jeremy first came to Alpine by using Anastasia’s guest pass and found that it was something he really enjoyed.
why did you join alpine?
Anastasia loves how climbing is physical and mental and that Alpine provides routes that challenge you in both areas. Jeremy loves that there is always a challenge with rock climbing. He met quite a few people and was able to bounce ideas off of them and learn how to climb problems in a different way.
what advice would you give to a new climber?
Climbing is something that every body type can do. Be open and let you do you. When you are progressing you are doing it. You can find joy in the physical activity and learning different techniques of climbing.
